The Kailasapuram Trust ("we", "us") respects the privacy of every devotee. This policy explains what information we collect through kailasapuram.org and how we use it, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Information we collect

Details you share in our forms: name, phone/WhatsApp number, email, city, gothram, nakshatram, date of birth, family members' names, and your message.
Donation and membership details: the seva chosen, amount and related communication.
Basic technical data: such as browser type and pages visited, collected through standard website analytics.

How we use it

To include your family's names and gothrams in poojas and sankalpams you have requested.
To process memberships and donations and to send receipts.
To send you blessings, festival greetings, event invitations and temple updates on WhatsApp, SMS or email, only with your consent.
To respond to your enquiries.

Your consent and choices

We contact you only after you agree in our forms. You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying "STOP" on WhatsApp, using the unsubscribe link in emails, or writing to us. You may also ask us to correct or delete your information.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website, messaging and payments (for example hosting, WhatsApp Business messaging and payment gateways), and only for these purposes, or where required by law.

Security and retention

Your information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with restricted access for authorised Trust members only. We keep it as long as needed for the purposes above and for legal and accounting requirements.
